We are Ruth & Gary Bisacky. We offer a unique and extremely large array of antiques and collectibles, housed in the original Spring Lake train depot. Built in 1884 in downtown Spring Lake and moved to its present location by Gary's father in the the early 1960's, it sat unused for the next 30 years until we decided to quit being booth renters and open our own shop.
Our passion for antiques goes back generations. We started collecting early in our marriage and quickly reached a point of having so much stuff that we decided to start selling at shows. That lead to renting booth space in multiple malls and so it goes... It's a story often told. In 1999, we renovated the depot, filled it with antiques and collectibles and opened for business in 2000. In 2005 we built a barn and it's two floors are filled. Chances are we have what you're looking for!
All told, we have 12,000 sq. ft. of floor space. Our inventory includes signs, architectural, pottery, primitives, nautical, aviation items, textiles, advertising, garden and even a suit of armor! And, we have loads and loads of furniture.
Gary's collection of vintage bicycles and motorcycles, which include a 1946 Indian, a 1947 Indian and a 1953 Harley, are on display in the shop but are not for sale. Our most memorable sale was a WW2 army tank that sat in front of the shop. We listed it on eBay and it got 30,000 hits! Thanks for stopping by our website and we hope to see you soon.
